Theria is one of the main characters of of Ethereal: New Moon. She is the caregiver and best friend of Valerie Alton.

Personality

This petite ghost is a selfless, big-hearted spirit. Her interests are always chosen in care for those she loves, going as far as murder in their favor. She can be stern when she feels she needs to, but often feels the need to apologize for doing so.

Early life

Theria reveals little of her past life, as she does not want her family's connection as Martin Alton's slaves. Theria was raised with three unnamed brothers, all of which met the same fate in a mining accident. According to her in-game dialogue, she always wanted to be a mother, which likely contributed to her decision to care for Valerie. Her cause of death is not revealed.

Trivia

• In early drafts for Ethereal's story, Theria was a male spirit by the name of Specter. In this draft, they had no involvement in the murder of Valerie's family.

• Theria's design was lightly inspired by the likes of Disney's Tinkerbell.

• Although her hat provides her with protection from the moonlight, she chooses not to take the risk.
